Australia and New Zealand have some of the world’s most breathtaking landscapes. Australia is mostly red desert with a coastal fringe of greenery and cities such as Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth located on the coasts, mostly in the south and east. The country also has some tropical regions at the Top End of the Northern Territory and in northern Queensland.
New Zealand is much greener and more mountainous than Australia. The country’s North Island features gorgeous coastline and geothermal hotspots, as well as the cities of Auckland and Wellington. The South Island features many fjords and glaciers and is home to the cities of Queenstown and Christchurch.
